  • Q. will you do a consultation or assessment?

    A. With Simplicity Please you will always get a free phone consultation before we decide to book either an onsite consultation or an organizing session. We do onsite consultations to see a client’s home or office first hand and help clients prioritize where to start their organizing project when they are overwhelmed and have multiple areas of clutter. The onsite consultation isn’t necessary when a client knows exactly the area or project they would like to work on during an organizing session and articulates that during our phone consult.

    Q. how does an organizing session work?

    A. An organizing session with Simplicity Please begins with a brief overview of your organizing project, your goals for getting organized, and what we plan to accomplish during that session. Most sessions involve purging, sorting, containing and organizing various belonging and spaces. We will work on developing your organizing skills and habits to help you get and stay organized. Organizing sessions with Simplicity Please are always a minimum of 3 hours and can be longer if desired and available.

    Q. do you organize hands or give suggestions?

    A. Our approach to helping you tackle your organizing project is very hands on. We work side by side with you in order to coach you through the organizing process and help you make decisions about your belongings. We are there to not only organize your space with you but help you learn to let go of the clutter in you life.

    Q. do you give homework in between sessions?

    A. Homework is almost always given but it is not required of any client to complete. It is an opportunity for you to take the skills we worked on together and continue to apply them to your organizing project in between organizing sessions with Simplicity Please. When a client completes their homework it helps them get closer to reaching their organizing goals and tells us that they are serious about getting organized.

    Q. what are your rates and hours of operation?

    A. Simplicity Please charges clients for onsite consultations as well as hands on organizing sessions. Our rates are based on 3 hour organizing sessions. Additional hours may be added to a session for an additional hourly rate. Prepaid package pricing is available. Get Organized Coaching phone session rates are based on each individuals coaching plan (weekly, monthly, or quarterly calls). We book appointments mornings and afternoons Monday – Saturday. Evening appointments are contingent upon availability. For more information regarding Simplicity Please rates and availability please call 713-855-7008.

    Q. what forms of payment do you accept?

    A. Simplicity Please accepts cash or check at the end of each consultation or organizing session. Prepaid packages are non-refundable and currently cash or check only. Get Organized Coaching phone sessions will be invoiced on either a monthly or quarterly basis. All checks are to be made payable to Simplicity Please.

    Q. do you have a cancellation policy?

    A. Absolutely. We prefer a 48 hour cancellation courtesy call or email so that we may have time to fill your cancelled session with another client. We take a credit card at the time of booking in order to hold your scheduled session. Your card will not be charged at this time. If you cancel your session within 24 hours of our scheduled appointment, we will charge your credit card a cancellation fee of $50.00. It is difficult to fill last minute cancelled sessions within a 24 hour period. Therefore, we ask for clients to kindly adhere to a 48 hour cancellation courtesy call or email to avoid fees.

    Clients receive a reminder call or email the day before their scheduled organizing session. The call or email is only a reminder and a courtesy to our clients. It is not to confirm your session. Your session is confirmed at the time of scheduling and held with your credit card.
